FTEI Bible Institute

FTEI is the first non-profit evangelical, Inter-denominational Bible institute, in the western region of Guatemala. 

We recognize that the final authority of Christian faith and practice lies in the Sacred Scriptures. With a firm belief in the infallibility, inerrancy and reliability of the Bible that constitutes the main foundation, on which the Faculty rests. 

What we do

FTEI fulfills the biblical mandate in (Mt. 28: 19-20). It trains believers for the work of the ministry for the edification of the body of Christ (Eph. 4: 11-16). The bible institute forms and equips ministers and leaders to teach the Word well (2nd. Tm. 2:15). 

There is a great need in the region for practical and academic theological biblical training and equipping.  The training pastors receive at FTEI helps them in their duties of ministry, leadership at the church and service to the community. The time that the pastors spend in classes together helps them to build a network with their brothers and sisters in Christ which provides spiritual, moral, academic and economic support. 

Programs:

• Diplomado: Certificate in Pastoral Ministry
  A program of biblical studies, with a duration of two years. For all those people who wish to prepare themselves biblically to perform better in the ministry in the local church
• Bachillerato: Advanced Certificate in Theological Studies.
  A program of biblical studies, with a duration of two years. For all those people who wish to have a better understanding of the scriptures.
• Profesorado: Teachers in Bible Certificate.
  A program of theological studies, with a duration of two years. For all those people who wish to teach the Bible to others. 
• Adults Education
  FTEI has an agreement with Institute of Distance Education (ISEA), in Guatemala City. The students obtain diplomas showing that they have finish their studies in elementary, middle and high school. 
• Music Academy
  A program for practical and theoretical musical training, to facilitate learning in a visual and dynamic way. Classes aim to systematize the comprehensive training of popular music performers at the highest level, with extensive knowledge and experience of different forms and styles. In order to develop the musical abilities of the students from their natural talents to be part of praise team in their local churches.
